Who we are
AATRAX is an independent, hands-on review site for GPS trackers and vehicle-tracking gear. We started the site for a simple reason: when we tried to buy a GPS tracker for our own cars, every review we found was either a rewritten spec sheet or a list of the highest-paying affiliate links. Nobody had actually installed the devices, driven with them for weeks, and told us what the first-year cost really was.
So we did it ourselves. We buy the trackers we review, install them in real vehicles, run them for at least two weeks, and publish the results — including the flaws.
What we do
- We buy and test. Trackers are purchased from normal retail channels. When a brand sends us a sample, we say so on the review page.
- We test in real conditions. Parking garages, rural roads, long trips, cold starts. Location accuracy and update speed mean nothing in a showroom.
- We show the total cost. Hardware price is only half the story. Every review includes the real first-year cost, including subscription fees.
- We update. Prices, plans and models change fast in this category. We review our price tables every quarter and date every update.
Who is behind AATRAX

What we will never do
- We do not accept payment for positive reviews or rankings.
- We do not claim to be affiliated with, or endorsed by, any brand we review.
- We do not publish guides for tracking someone else’s vehicle without their knowledge. That is illegal in many places and we will not help with it.
